Fat Tire Bike Week - June 26-28
Join us for the 29th Annual Fat Tire Bike Week in Crested Butte! This event is the longest running of it's kind. Ride truly epic singletrack, cool off with microbrew poured by Colorado’s own New Belgium Brewing, jam to great live music, and ride the latest bikes from the top manufacturers.

Crested Butte Music Festival - July 4-July 26
The Crested Butte Music Festival presents an innovative program of music and dance through the month of July. Fourth of July Celebration - July 4
Crested Butte's 4th of July Celebration is one of the town's premiere events. The day begins with a huge parade which marches directly through downtown Crested Butte, and is followed by an event lineup, which includes a Log Saw Competition, Kids Games, and live music. A food court will also be open throughout the day which will offer a variety of foods and drinks. The day will be capped off by the Crested Butte Chamber's famous fireworks show at dusk (weather permitting).
Crested Butte Wildflower Festival - July 6-12

Caddis Cup Fly Fishing Tournament - July 16-17 Join angler enthusiasts from all over the country for an unforgettable two days in the heart of the majestic Colorado Rockies while participating in this exciting non-competitive fly fishing experience. Crested Butte Festival of the Arts - August 1-2 One of town's most popular events, artists come from all over to participate. What began as an informal gathering of mostly local crafters selling their wares has evolved into one of the top fine art and fine craft shows in Colorado. Pearl Pass Tour to Aspen (and Back!) - September 12th - 13th The oldest mountain bike event in the world is repeated year after year on a September weekend. The first tour happened in 1976 when a group of Crested Butte rowdies pedaled and pushed their one-speed klunkers over the 12,705 ft. pass and on into Aspen. They didn't know what they were creating. Vinotok - September 19th The culmination of the festival of Vinotok! Don your costumes and hit the streets or park it in a restaurant on Elk Avenue for dinner. A street theatre production with mumming will wind its way throughout downtown restaurants inviting the public to an outdoor stage production celebrating the Harvest Mother, the Green Man and the changing of the seasons. The play will begin in front of the Eldo at 7:30 p.m. on the outdoor stage with the procession to the 4-way stop beginning at 8:30 p.m. Will the Grump be burned? Don your best medieval costumes, get your head wreath together and hit the streets to watch the mummers and stage production, then travel with the cast and crew to the bonfire at the 4-way stop.
