Check out the adorable historic town and carbo-load at some of Crested Butte’s finest eateries. Wake up on the third day for an early gourmet Ruby breakfast, grab your gear, and a packed lunch full of goodies provided The Ruby, leave your car parked in the driveway, and the shuttle will take you to the West Maroon Pass trailhead. Experience why Crested Butte is the “Wildflower Capital of Colorado” on your day hike to Aspen. Arrive at the end of the trail in Aspen and take the shuttle into town where The Ruby has set up local accommodations for you for two nights. Pedal and Pamper yourself at the The Ruby of Crested Butte Bed and Breakfast! This package is designed for our guests who love to bicycle. Arrive early at The Ruby. You can bring your own bicycle or request rental bikes. Start your adventure winding through our historic downtown and park your bike at the nearest bike rack to enter the Crested Butte Heritage museum (ticket included) to tour Crested Butte’s rich mining history as well as the famous Mountain Bike Hall of Fame. Then grab your bike and head out for a wonderful ride through the Lower Loop mountain bike trail that will take you to stunning views of Paradise Divide.
Trail maps, bottled water, and snack, including a bag of the Ruby's famous homemade chocolate chip cookies will be packed to take along on your ride.
At the end of the day, look forward to being pampered with a one hour massage with our on-staff massage therapist. Hot Springs Sunday
Wake up Sunday morning to The Ruby's mouth-watering gourmet breakfast prepared by Chef Chris. At 10 a.m., your personal driver will begin you 1 1/2 hour drive to the beautiful towns of Ridgway and Ouray through the lovely and scenic Blue Mesa Reservoir area, where you will soak in the wonderful Orvis Hot Springs at Ridgway until 1:00 p.m. Your driver will then escort you to the historic town of Ouray for lunch, a soak in the Ouray hot springs, a one hour massage, and some time for shopping and/or a visit to the Box Canyon. By 4 p.m., you will begin your journey back to The Ruby just in time for dinner. This tour package includes driver for the day, Orvis hot springs experience, and lunch, requires a stay over a Saturday and Sunday night, and has a 4 person minimum and 6 person maximum.
